"Sea Breeze" (20 x 16" - acrylic on canvas) - My own take on post-impressionism.  This painting won 1st place in the seascapes category at the Sanford art show.

"Hot Treads in the Sand" (11 x 14" - acrylic on canvas) - Most people assume that this car is a Volkswagen, but it is actually a 1962 Volvo that I photographed on Carthage Street in Sanford.  I decided that the beach was the perfect setting for it.

"Rex" (17 x 11" - acrylic on canvas) - I named him Rex, which is Latin for "king."  I used purple in the background since that is the complimentary color for the yellow in his fur and also it's the traditional color of royalty.

"Pear Trio" (8 x 8" - acrylic on canvas) - A still life emphasizing the warmer colors towards the front and the cooler colors towards the back.

"Crystal Beauty" (14" x 11 " - acrylic on canvas) - This is the only recent work that I have completed in one day.  I painted it in a workshop in Pinehurst, N.C. with artist Harry Neely.  It was one of those thrilling paintings where everything comes together just right the first time.

"Mountain Majesty" (18" x 24" - acrylic on canvas) - I love landscapes and the effect of light in a painting.  This image of the painting doesn't fully capture the details, but there is a small waterfall and a moose at the back edge of the water.
